SCY Is essential to progress your training

I have been following Carla Molinaro for roughly 6 months now and I have noticed the benefits almost immediately since doing the workouts. I generally do the strength and conditioning workout once a week and then the yoga once a week. Each video lasts roughly 30 minutes, so it’s only an hour per week and it really does help your running performance. I have noticed my balance has improved, my core is more stable, my legs are more powerful and I have been running further than I ever have before with no injuries. If I ever feel that I have a tight muscle or I am struggling with little niggles I will use the filter function to locate videos that strengthen/stretch that particular muscle and afterwards I always feel a lot stronger/looser for it. I have also attended a session via Zoom with a physio that Carla organized and she was really helpful at giving me some advice on taping up my leg and prescribing the relevant stretches to relieve the tightness, all free of charge! Honestly I could talk about SCY forever, it is amazing, just try it out for a month and see how you get on. You won’t regret it!

Making me a better runner

I’m no stranger to S&C but life love and lockdown made me neglect it. I’ve tried other apps out there but since discovering a leaflet for Carla SCY course (on a toilet door at a run show- who says targeted advertising doesn’t work). I thought I would give it a go thinking I won’t be keeping up with it like with so many other apps I have tried in the past. Carla’s teaching is personable, clear and focussed. Three months on I am noticing the difference, how much more my core is engaged, and my strength returning. Carla is engaging with her students it’s not just one set of routines on repeat and encourages interaction, even making a special bonus video for me to target a troublesome area. I would whole heartily recommend this to anyone. Just expect a lot of cake talk 😊Mansinu

Excellent for strength, conditioning & yoga

Designed specifically with runners in mind, this app provides easy-to-follow on-demand weekly videos for S&C and yoga. All sessions can be done in your living room and include tips on technique plus how to improvise if you haven’t got e.g. a kettlebell. Bonus videos are available for specific problem areas such as ITB or plantar fasciitis. There are regular ‘ask the expert’ Q&A live sessions: these are also recorded to watch back later.
I’ve been following this programme for nearly 2 years and love it. It fits around a busy schedule and the online community is fab - can’t recommend highly enough!
