- 6 months ago I fell from my bike and spoke to you about swelling around the glute max. Medics say it’s fluid trapped by facia and ought go, but agree 6 months and no improvement is a long time. Nothing wrong with joints. I’m on week 5 of Couch to 5k, don’t laugh!. It’s great for the head, but afterwards the glute needs ice to reduce pain rather than swelling. - I pulled my calf in Nov, when I did this I stopped wearing my supershoes (alphafly) also took about 2 weeks off and gradually built up again. This week I ran in new shoes and a couple of hours after that run my knee hurt. It was a different pain to my calf. Yesterday it was more or less Ok but I felt it a bit later in the day when I got up after long periods of sitting. Could this be the shoes or is it a new injury? f it’s the shoes is it more likely the supershoes or could it be the saucony which has a tiny amount of support? (10:10)
