  • Having got age related knee wear and tear, as confirmed by a MRI scan, could you ask Parys to advise me on 3 or 4 exercises that I could do regularly to build strength in the knee area. (08:15)
  • Since I ran a marathon distance two weeks ago as training for an ultra Ive had some niggles on my right leg. I get tightness around my right lateral thigh (although that is improving) and some niggles on the inner right knee and lower adductors. They started 2-3days after the marathon and although not bad I wanted to ask what I should do to help it? (13:20)
  • I have a high hamstring tendinopathy how can I manage this? (18:45)
  • I’ve been having issues with my left calf extending into the outside of my foot. It seems to worsen with rest and improve with exercise (e.g eases off after the first 10 mins of a run but will hurt just sitting at a desk). My left calf is tighter than the right but I can’t seem to loosen it. Do you have any ideas on what this could be and how to fix it? (29:25)
  • I've recently developed patellofemoral pain on my left leg. The only change in my training recently was a track session where I pulled my left hamstring (in April). I'm desperately trying to rehabilitate and get back to training as I have a 100 mile race in July. How can I best go about doing this? (34:20)
  • I have pain in my knee that I think it stems from tight ITB and weak glute med. The pain is just below my knee cap on the outside. It hurt during London marathon after a few miles but was bearable until the final 6 miles when it was super painful. It was painful to walk for 10 days after the marathon and I’ve gradually been able to walk a bit more before it starts hurting. Any advice on exercises to help recovery? (37:20)
  • I have a really tight hamstring, right under my butt cheek! Do I carry on running or rest and what exercises should I do to try and help it? (41:00)
  • I've got a bit an occasional ache in my heel. It's not there all the time and isn't really impacting my running but just wondered if she had any advice before i up my milage again as I'm worried about causing a problem it's the pointy bit at the back of my heel. When it flares up it's a bit sore to touch but not drastically so. (44:20)
