- Have tendonitis on my Petronius brevis, what can I do? (00:00)
- I went over on my right ankle last August, couldn't weight bear for a few days. Saw a physio who said it was tib ant muscle overload as a consequence of my summer ankle injury. After some rest and rehab it had fully cleared up, I ramped up my mileage too quickly in February and it came back, but now I can't get rid of it. The physio though it could be a stress fracture but an MRI showed no stress fracture, no stress response, no soft tissue damage in that tib ant area at all. It's not painful to press in any area. I can manage a 5k run once or twice a week reasonably pain free, but any more than that and it starts to get painful even walking on it. I've been stretching and foam rolling my calves and tib ant, doing band work to strengthen the ankle/tib ant. Nothing is really helping so far. I've not done anything new, like run in new shoes or really worn out shoes. Any suggestions for what I can try next? (9:20)
- I picked up an injury/strain after False Bay 50. It's from what I can gage the hip flexor/adductor area. In short, when I run, I experience paid (sharp pain). I also have this sensation when lifting the knee or getting into a car. Walking and stationary bike is manageable. When do I introduce running again? Do I rest completely or try run through the pain ? (18:00)
- Year half ago had a stress fracture on my tib and it feels like it has flared up again on the opposite leg. Could it be the same thing? (28:30)
