- I have a pain on the inside of my knee and feels like I have hit it on something, 2/10 at the mo what can I do to make it go away? (00:00)
- I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my knee and the tendon on the inside of my knee is very tight. What can I do to fix this? (11:20)
- Looking for a second opinion on my wife’s foot which is giving her a lot of pain for a year now. She’s been told she has foot neuropathy so is always sore when running and walking, throbbing afterwards and needs to take mini breaks when walking. Scans done confirmed no fracture or tear or Morton’s Neuroma but did show fluid between her second and third metatarsal. Her big toe is smaller than rest of her toes. She’s been given a couple exercises to do to stretch the calf which they think could be causing it but not helping. Any ideas or recommendations on what to do? (23:00)
- The day before every race I get a cramp feeling in my calves. It is always very tight before a race. Is this just taper madness or is there something wrong with my calves? (27:00)
- I saw a sports therapist a while ago and she diagnosed chondromalacia patella in my left knee. The pain is worse after longer runs, or if I run back to back days (which I try not to). Stairs are painful, particularly going down. And it sometimes swells up. I was also told that my knee cap is tilted outwards compared to the right one, and that my outer (lateral?) quad is firing before and stronger than my inner (medial?) quad. She gave me a couple of stretches and an exercise where I sit with legs extended, flexed foot and then tense quads x10 and hold on 10th. Also foam rolling my quads. I wasn’t expecting a quick fix but it doesn’t seem to be improving at all. Does Parys have any suggestions for exercises or stretches I should focus on, in addition to doing the weekly SCY sessions please? (32:20)
