- I’m getting a burning, nerve-type discomfort on the outer side of my left ankle between the lateral malleolus and the Achilles. It’s aggravated most when I bend forward with straight knees or lift my toes, suggesting distal sural nerve irritation/tension. Last time we spoke, I also mentioned a sensitive psoas on the same side. It still hasn’t fully healed, but I’m managing it carefully. My back spasms are 90% dealt with but still lingering..might be a contributing factor. (00:00)
- Has anyone ever injured/strained/have weak psoas muscle? I am wondering how long it takes to recover. (4:45)
- I’ve had bothersome left heal pain essentially all year- initial diagnosis was plantar fasciitis. Is there any role for a proper break/ test from running to try and help heal plantar fasciitis? Is there any role for corticosteroid or anything else intervention wise to try and help ‘fix’ it? Is it ok to keep running/ strength training as long as the plantar is (very slowly) getting better in the background? (9:20)
- I'm keen to understand what is causing a clicking/ popping sound around my hip area everytime I try something like fire hydrants. I also get it just walking around the house some days. It doesn't hurt and I don't feel it running. Most importantly what can I do about it? Is it tight hip flexors? Or is it that I need to strengthen something? Very disconcerting hearing it! - I have a broken rib when can I run again? (23:20)
